Partner spotlight: Haggar Group

Haggar Group has partnered with UWC for more than a decade, supporting Sudanese and South Sudanese students to access a UWC education through full scholarships, including during periods of conflict and acute crisis.
The partnership reflects a shared belief in the potential of young people in Sudan and South Sudan, and the role of education in opening pathways that might otherwise be closed. Since 2013, Haggar Group has been committed to supporting students from both countries; for every scholarship Haggar provides to a student from Sudan, UWC matches it with a scholarship for a student from South Sudan. In recent years, this collaboration has helped sustain learning and opportunity despite growing instability.
Haggar Group was a co-host of The Education Imperative: Sudan webinar, which opened UWC International’s webinar series in 2025 and created space to reflect on education, responsibility and long-term recovery.
